Fernando was very responsive and trusting! The van was well stocked with cooking gear. This was more bare bones than other van I have rented, but had all the essentials. We were not lacking for anything! The solar panels were great. The van handled the gravel roads of death valley with grace, if not a little loudly. My biggest complaint is that it was definitely built for someone taller than us! Handles or steps would have been nice.

got in one area where road was tricky and was starting to rain i decided to change my plans not wanting to cahance slick mud down hill vehicle is excelant slept like a baby

Had a great experience renting from Fernando! The car and kit were as described and worked reliably for our road trip. AC was super cold, even in the desert. The pop-up tent functioned very well and was easy to use, and the mattress was comfortable.

Absolute beast of a car! Will have everything you need while providing an authentic experience. Tip: bring some warm clothes or extra layers for the night when you go to places like Bryce Canyon where it can get quite cold over night even in the summer. Also ask Fernando for the cooking gear in case you might need it. Thanks again for hosting, it was a great trip!

First time using an RTT and Fernando made it an awesome experience! Pick-up and drop-off were super easy, and he was flexible with timing, which we really appreciated. The 4Runner may be a bit older, but it drives like new. We had a couple of minor hiccups, but Fernando’s quick communication and helpful tips took care of everything. We only had it for a day but wish we’d kept it longer—definitely planning to book again for future camping trips!
