Buyer Beware. Two main issues with this rental: (1) The pickup time is 3 PM. Quite late if you’re heading on a road trip, especially in winter, and when you consider the fact that the pick up location was 30 minutes from us, and the van needed to be stocked with our stuff before we could hit the road. This wasn’t going to work for us. When I asked if it was possible for the van to be ready earlier in the day, I was told that 3 PM was the earliest. When I offered to pay an extra night’s rent, suddenly the van was ready 24 hours earlier. So, I paid for an extra night to park the van in my driveway, so I could leave at a reasonable time the next day. Return time is 10 AM. Again, mighty early if you’re returning from any distance away. The pick up and return times are not listed until after you book the trip. You can’t know how many nights you need without this information. Had I known this, I might have chosen a different host with a different pick up time. Under the circumstances, I felt coerced into paying for an extra night. I was able to negotiate a later return time. (2) David sent me a link to a walk around video and told me to call if I had any questions. The video link was not live and the messaging feature in the Outdoorsy app does not allow copy and pasting. David never responded to multiple requests to send me the video link through a different channel, and he did not respond to my attempts to call him. This meant figuring out the van without any support. The van itself was fine. It seemed well-stocked and drove well, though I could not find an extension cord to plug into a power source and the windshield wipers were shot, so we drove through rain in both directions with shoddy wipers.

The van worked out well for our trip. It's definitely cozy living space, so make sure you like the person you're traveling with.

We had the best time in the camper van. David was super communicative and accommodating. As others have mentioned, this camper is loaded with all items you need for a perfect camping experience. We were super comfortable sleeping and driving. The water and fridge were a huge plus. We hope to book again!!

David was friendly, quick to respond and made the whole renting experience very easy. We had a great time exploring the Red Rocks area. The van is a little older and storage is minimal, however everything you need is provided and it suited our needs very well. Can’t wait to visit again!

My sister and I rented the van for a road trip through Arizona. It was very comfortable to drive and sleep! Had everything we needed and things were easily accessible. We made really great memories on this trip and would highly recommend booking this van!

The van had everything I needed for my camping experience. The kitchen sink worked great and he has added lots of extra items for you to use for camping so you don’t have to buy anything. We had an issue with the power source which he was really attentive to. The issue seems to have self resolved. Car ran great. I am very happy with the Van. My biggest complaint is the exorbitant cost of the insurance and extra fees. They made the van twice the price that it is advertised at. That’s not David’s fault though. I would definitely rent from David again, not sure I would like to go through Outdoorsy.
