About Jason's RV rentals
Our family of three loves to camp in all kinds of locations, exploring everything that we can. We love getting out to hike or bike ride, swim, sightsee and enjoy every town that we visit. Mt. Hood and Seaside have been some of our favorite camping locations. We've traveled most of the west coast and we've loved every trip. Hopefully with our RV other families can have as much fun as we have.

I have owned and used trailers extensively for 40 plus years. bumper pull and 5th wheel mostly dry camping. I know what to expect. We rented this 21" Wolf pup when we were out of state and didn't have access to our own RV. It's confusing that he calls it 17" in the description, I guess that's the box size. Anyway, when I picked it up I asked him how fresh the batteries were (among other questions). He told me they were replaced within the last 2 years. Well. they were not! The date on the battery was 4/20 (picture), over 5 years old! We had to hook it up to my truck at night and a friends generator during the day because it would not hold a charge. He verified this with his battery checker when I returned the trailer.
Second problem: The side window completely fell off! We noticed that the bond on the bottom where it connects to the crank mechanism had come loose (see picture). And on the return trip, the top bond failed also and the window fell off on the highway. When I pointed this out when I returned it he stated that he had problems with that before and had it fixed. Apparently it was not done correctly. And then he has the nerve to file a damage claim against us!! For his poor maintenance! You can clearly see in the picture that there is a complete failure in the adhesive bond. There would have been broken glass still adhered to it if it had been broken by impact or something. Luckily I took pictures to back this up. We are fighting the claim.
Next problem: The bathroom was not clean and smelled. We cleaned it with Clorox wipes and they came out black!(picture)
There were a couple of other problems. the refrigerator door latch was very difficult to operate, the outside storage door latch was binding hard to operate, the door seal needs to be replaced as you could see light through it when it was closed and the door screen was cut from the folding stairs.
All in all, we still had a good trip. The trailer slept well enough and I probably would not have written this review had he not filed a claim on us.

It was a fun trip! Jason was very helpful in getting my SUV hooked up to the trailer and explaining how everything works on the trailer. I would definitely rent from him again.

This was the perfect trailer for our Labor Day weekend trip to Lake Billy Chinook. Jason could not have been easier to work with. We had such a great time in the Frog!!
