Hey there fellow travelers! I am excited to have finally joined the Van Life Community and am stoked to be able to share my 2020 RAM ProMaster City with you here through Outdoorsy! I just completed its maiden voyage from Missouri to Alaska. Wow what a trip! It is the perfect little adventure rig. I am a lifelong Alaskan who currently works as a ship officer in the oil and gas maritime industry in the Gulf of Mexico, with the career goal of becoming a super-yacht captain. I am an ever-curious student of the world and am passionate about self-improvement, personal finance, fitness, real estate investing, traveling and music. I am also an Airbnb host in Anchorage, Alaska. My 2 bed/1 bath is 5 minutes from the airport and a short walk to the Coastal Trail. Don't hesitate to ask about availability!

This was the most amazing trip ever! Karl was very helpful and the camper was perfect for the 2 of us just cruising around Alaska! Perfect way to spend celebrating or engagement!

Karl is the best host you could ever get. Very communicative and flexible. The van works great for 2 people. Could be a bit tight but it is great for driving and parking. Feels just like a regular SUV. Karl has all supplies ready for your trip. Highly recommend checking out what you have prior to hitting up the groceries store!

Karl was very communicative, helpful and kind! His van was awesome, clean, and has helpful small perks like cooking supplies, electric blanket, etc. We loved our trip!

Karl and Nora were amazing. They were super friendly, responsive, incredibly helpful, and professional. Everything was ready and in perfect condition at the appointed time, and we got a thorough walk-through of the vehicle. The van was exactly as advertised and was just amazing. It was perfect for our trip. Very new, well-equipped, easy to drive, ample storage space, outfitted with all the basic gear, and though cozy, roomy enough for two to sleep in comfortably (we are, admittedly, on the shorter side). They allowed us to store our luggage with them, and Karl even dropped us off at the airport for our flight out. And when we discovered that we had inadvertently left some things in the van, Karl was so kind as to mail it back to us right away. We could not think of a better way to explore the backroads of Alaska. You have full freedom and flexibility traveling this way. We wouldn't hesitate to do it again, and we hope we get the chance sometime in the future.

This van was absolutely perfect and would definitely recommend! It's a great size and easy to drive that gave us the flexibility for getting around that we were looking for. It had all the camping items needed for cooking, fires, etc. and everything for a comfortable stay and sleeping. Karl was an incredible host and we appreciated his responsiveness, flexibility with pick-up timing, and taking the time to walk us through everything. He went above and beyond, and we look forward to renting again when we come back to Alaska!

Karl and his sister Nora have been great hosts. They answer all of our questions promptly. This new van was just great and perfect for our needs. It has all important and necessary items for camping life. We will surely recommend Karl's Van for everyone who needs or wants to experience camping life. If we want a bigger and softer "bed," we, of course, would stay in a hotel instead of a Camper Van. We were able to positioned ourselves so that we can sleep better. We Just wish that the daily mileage allowance can be increased a little bit, to accommodate people like us who travel to lots of places. But again, this van is just perfect and have exceeded our expectations.

Great trip! Super quick responses for anything we needed along the way. Has everything you could need to camp. The only thing to be aware of is the size of the people sleeping in the van. It was a tight fit for 2 of us (5’6” and 6’2”).

Truck is new and drives very well. Would definitely note this is a fairly small van and would be hard to sleep more than 1 robust sized individual (my hubby and I are average size and it was a bit snug). There really is very little storage space so pack accordingly.
If you have any back issues at all bring extra pads. Thick ones. We were both pretty uncomfortable (we're in our 40s) even after spending money to buy pads here in Alaska after 2 nights (resorted to an airbnb on the last night!). Host was prompt with replies.
