Like most people during COVID, I was looking for fun things to do. Some people baked bread. I built a van. (...I also baked a lot of bread...) I took Little Miss Sunshine on a cross-country road trip for the entire summer of 2021, and it was hands-down the greatest experience of my life. Now, by renting it to other folks on Outdoorsy, I'm hoping to share the freedom of a self-sufficient, off-grid-capable camper van with others here in the Carolinas! There's truly nothing else like it. For the record -- in 16,000 miles, I only saw one other yellow camper van. Just the one. We waved as we passed each other on the highway. It was awesome.

Our trip was great! The van had everything we needed and Andrew was great with communication and very flexible with pick up/drop off times. Would definitely rent again!

An was an absolute blast to rent and was perfect for our family of 2 with a dog. The wipers were a bit worn out but that’s a total nonissue to us. Would absolutely rent again in a heartbeat.

Little Miss Sunshine lived up to her cheerful name and provided just the right combination for me of getting around, camping, sight-seeing and being totally self-contained when necessary. Huge freedom! Numerous people along the way complimented and expressed their curiosity and envy! It drives so much more easily and smoothly than I expected, handled really well on all the mountain roads. And the bed/mattress is thick and super comfy. (I can't sleep on just anything anymore!) And last but not least, Andrew was so easy to work with, super chill and helpful and flexible, put me at ease. Thanks!

Amazing 4 day weekend in South Carolina. "Little Miss Sunshine" work out perfectly. We had a lot of rain that weekend and were able to stay warm, dry and comfortable in the camper. Owner, Andrew, was a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend "Little Miss" for your next Outdoorsy adventure!

AMAZING EXPERIENCE - sunshine has everything you’d like to have a wonderful time! Tons of space- fridge and generator. Keep the van in a super sunny spot and you’ll be charged all night long.

It’s like a cozy, contemporary, cabin tucked away inside a van! Everything looked and worked beautifully.

We've spent 9 days with Little Miss Sunshine and it has been an incredible experience, it is the perfect travel companion!
It's easy to drive, bed is very comfortable, lots of storage, all necessary equipment for cooking, batteries charging with solar panel, and lot of people will talk to you because they love the color! We miss it already!
In addition, communication with Andrew was very easy before and during the trip.

What an incredible weekend with Andy’s van! We traveled from Charlotte to the Bryson City/Sylva area and stayed at a dispersed camp site along Lake Santeetlah. Andy made the whole experience so easy, and he thought of everything in the van — from pots and pans to sun shields and a great fan ventilation system. And the bed was very comfortable. Thanks so much Andy!
