About Randy and Sharon Gerbrandt's RV rentals
My parents instilled a love of the outdoors and camping in me as I was growing up. It wasn't long after we were married that we bought our first RV and we have been camping together and as family for over 30 years. It is such a joy to see others enjoy our motor home and enjoy camping as much as we do. We will do all we can to make this a positive experience for you!

We spent a wonderful three weeks in the cottage. It was a truly magnificent trip and we felt like new people by the end.The cottage is a good size and felt very spacious for our family of 3. It’s filled with thoughtful touches and details that make a huge difference and ensure the van feels both homely and incredibly practical at the same time. A stand out is the the bed, we’ve never slept so well. It’s also equipped with everything you could possibly need for life on the road.Randy and Sharon were wonderful hosts, helping us plan our trip in advance and answering all of our many questions before and during our trip. Randy also provided us with a helpful tutorial at pick up and was on hand if we needed anything which was reassuring.We’re total converts and have even looked into buying our own van. Needless to say, nothing we have seen comes close to the cottage!We couldn’t recommend highly enough!

It's been a pleasure to travel on The Cottage with our family of 4. Driving was easy and safe. The Cottage was clean and well equipped. All the essentials and more were included. It's been a pleasure to chat with Randy in preparation and during the trip.

We had a great time travelling up the Sunshine Coast and across Vancouver Island while staying in Randy and Sharon's RV "the cottage". The RV comfortably slept all four of us, and all the thoughtful touches like herbs and spices, a welcome pack, and bathroom and bedroom linen made our trip very comfortable.Randy was incredibly helpful during our pre-travel arrangements, providing advice and guidance. He was also flexible with pick-up and drop-off times and gave us a comprehensive tour of the vehicle. Though we had a small issue with one of the windscreen wipers during the trip, Randy was prompt and accurate in helping us resolve it.All in all I would recommend Randy and Sharon and ‘the cottage’ for your trip throughout the beautiful BC.

What a fantastic home away from home. The Cottage made our road trip of BC and the Rockies even more amazing than we could have hoped for. Very easy to drive, super comfortable and stocked with lots of useful things you’d only find in someone’s loved RV. Randy and Sharon’s homemade goodies were the icing on the cake! Randy’s initial run through (as well as their communication and travelling advice beforehand) was brilliant. We chose to mainly stay on non-serviced campgrounds (BC Provincial Parks and Banff and Jasper National Parks with onsite showers and washrooms), we love this simplicity and the RV was perfect for dry camping. We spent three weeks on the road and would have happily made The Cottage our home for much longer.

The Cottage could not have been more perfectly suited to our family's travel plans, and Randy and Sharon were the most thoughtful, hospitable hosts imaginable! Communication from planning to pickup to return was flawless -- prompt, thoughtful, and courteous -- and all of the little touches that they've put into their home on wheels made our trip easy and comfortable.Upon our arrival, Randy provided a comprehensive introduction to the RV and all its systems, including a well-planned test drive that ended at a grocery store so we could stock up for our adventure! The welcome note and bag of goodies were a lovely treat. The Cottage is stocked with nearly every amenity one could hope for, and they provided a very helpful inventory list that came in handy when wondering whether a kitchen utensil or cleaning supply was on board. We drove away feeling completely prepared and ready for our time on the road.Our family's adventures took us through BC and briefly down into Washington, and we had some of the best days of our lives on this trip. We look forward to crossing paths with Randy and Sharon again on their travels and ours!

This was one of those experiences that was *so good*, you selfishly want to keep it a secret—all to yourself.Sharon and Randy were exceptionally lovely to deal with from the get-go—helpful, communicative, generous with their time. They made it very easy for us to place our trust in them through the booking process, and know that we were renting a safe and reliable RV that would offer us a trouble-free trip.What we didn’t expect were the thoughtful details—the little things that allowed us to settle in quickly and feel at home right away! They also provided us with small gift upon arrival of their favourite little something’s—chocolate and jam and homemade yogurt. It was evident from the moment we arrived to pick up the RV that Sharon and Randy were centrally concerned with us having a comfortable and memorable trip…and we did exactly that!We are leaving the cottage replenished, inspired, and hungry for more! Thank you Sharon and Randy, for sharing your beautiful home away from home with us.

Perfect hosts. Randy was always happy to help & provide pre-trip information as well as a very detailed handover, which we needed as newbies at this.
The cottage was a home from home, very well equipped with all that was needed & more. The welcome gift bag was a lovely personal touch & delicious.
We had an amazing trip & many special Mum & Son memories.
Will definitely recommend & will hopefully be back.

We couldn't have asked for better hosts than Randy and Sharon. Their RV was well equipped, clean, spacious and everything we had hoped for. Randy was extraordinarily helpful and explained all of the details meticulously and conducted a very thorough handover. Lots of handy advice and supports too.
We particularly liked the full-service offering (only needing to top-up the fuel). All this and a little welcome pack. Nice touches which were very much appreciated.
Oh... and British Columbia is just BEAUTIFUL!Thoroughly recommended.

5 Stars are too less actually!
Even before the trip, Randy gave us very helpful advices for our planning and was highly concerned that we had everything set up for the two weeks of our vacation.The handover was highly professional. During the testdrive he went through the handling of the RV, especially in driving up- and downhill. That way we did not have any issues with the engine during the trip.The camper is in top condition. The interior of the camper is in a perfect shape. Really nothing is missing. Bed, towls, dishes, microwave even a coffee machine Randy and Sharon provided to us.Although the 5 zylinder is not the strongest, we did not have any issues to drive up and down the mountains (Randy gave us the important instructions during the testdrive!)All in all we are completely satisfied with the RV and especially with Randy and Sharon for their lovely hosting!!!If we get a chance to come to canada again, Randy and Sharon will be our first address!Emanuel & Bernhard

Randy and Sharon have created a delightful home-away-from-home with the
cottage.
Amazing amenities with a fully stocked kitchen, comfortable bedding, bbq
and camp chairs. Super easy set up and take down with power jacks and self
leveling, simple generator start, air conditioning and heating.
Sharon has done a superb job of creating a cottage atmosphere inside with
her decorative touches and Randy maintains the unit meticulously. And
provided an easy to follow how-to's to make the entire experience
stress-free.
Very grateful for the opportunity to spend 4 nights in this lovely space
and look forward to our annual BC camping trip with them again next year.
