Nathaniel,I appreciate your detailed review, but I would like to add some more clarity and accuracy that you neglected to include.I told you from day 1 my RVs were not the best for dry camping, and you needed to Google and watch videos to make your trip the best.I filled the tank before your departure, but you also needed to bring water with you.The oven works; I lit it on my first attempt upon return, and I used a long-reach lighter. One burner might not work, but 2 of 3 burners will allow you to cook almost anything neededI had an RV tech look over the RV prior to your trip and fix the issues with the water heater and water pump. Everything worked great prior to your trip, and they told me everything was good. I made you aware that I have been trying to fix this issue for over a month now, and I think it is fixed, but let me know if it's not.The next day you picked up, told me the water was not working right again. We were able to get an RV tech to come and fix it later that evening. We found out something else needed to be fixed to complete the fix, as a wire came loose on the water pump and wouldn't engage. The same RV tech came back at 7 am to repair and brought as much water as he could bring based on the buckets he had, knowing you needed more water to help refill your tank.I am unsure why the awning did not work, but all of them are problematic on all my RV's unfortunately. It worked when it left, as I had it out. So that you did not have to be in the sun I also told you how to manually put it in and out so that you could use it, which, while not ideal,l would only be one time out and in during the trip. The fridge only works with the battery on it needs to be able to burn the propane, so when you toggle off the battery during the day, you were turning off the fridge. The check light is due to not having power. The fridge works 100% when you follow the directions.I disagree that the AC was not cooling. I turn it on and run the AC for 30-45 mins, and it will reach 74 and cut off. I looked at the weather in Pittsboro, and it was not over 85 outside, which does not make a lot of sense to me, but I will check again to see if we have any issues. I get very hot often and have camped in this RV often and never had that issue, even when over 95. Also, no complaints this past 5-day rental at all about the AC.While you may not agree, this RV is very well maintained, clean, and in good working order. I have been renting this RV for over 4 years and never had a renter write a review like this. I am sorry your inexperience and decision to dry camp with this RV and your first RV experience were not ideal. I tried my best to make it right for you and do all I could.I went above and beyond for you, and I am saddened that the 50-60 texts we exchanged and 20-30 messages on the Outdoorsy platform did not help satisfy you that I care about your experience and was attempting to help you.I just rented the same unit for a 5-day trip to NY and back. They did not have any issues or messages once.Last, you said you paid almost $1,000. You texted me that Outdoorsy refunded you almost $700. I see a $514.95 credit on a $1,154.25 total, so you paid $639.55 for an RV rental for 4 days. While you did have some challenges, and I am sure it was not ideal. You were not taken advantage of. I do care, and so does Outdoorsy.I am sorry this experience was not what you wanted or desired. I can tell you this experience is not completely abnormal for anyone who RVs. They are like boats; they work until they don't, and always have something going on. We do our best to keep them maintained, but we have to rely on others to help us do that, and all repair people are great.I am insulted that you insinuated I am only in this for the money and don't care. I tried my best to help you and offered my class A RV before not being able to find a way to charge the battery, and I knew it would be miserable if that happened. I also offered another RV that would be great for dry camping and said I would rent it for 50% and you could rent a generator to plug that RV into, which would power it, and you declined that solution.Very few on Outdoorsy are in this for the money; it's to allow us to RV and offset some of the cost, and I enjoy helping others enjoy RVing without ownership costs.
