We love baseball, football, golf, and several other sports we enjoy watching. Joseph was very upfront and accommodating during the entire rental process. I am definitely looking forward to my next RV trip rental thanks to this experience.

The RV was the perfect size for our family. The handoff was smooth. Joe was very easy to talk to and to even change the reservation to meet our needs.

The bathroom smelled disgustingly bad, like a porta-potty- smelled like old urine and feces. So bad we chose not to even leave our toothbrushes or bathroom supplies in it. It stunk up the RV if the door was left open. There were a bunch of air-fresheners all over the place trying to cover up the stench.We chose to only use the public restrooms, except for our 3 year old. On the second day she put too much toilet paper in the toilet and it backed up. Maggots were floating in the toilet (picture). Owner claimed it was from the city water line- however based on the smell and maggots I’m thinking the septic tank was not cleaned properly.Refrigerator smelled like old onions and the freezer never froze over in our five days.Owner was in a hurry when dropped off so did not explain how to use much of the RV including the grills. Claimed it is common sense- however Outdoorsy is a site for people who don’t own RVs so a little explanation would’ve been helpful. He did not turn the propane for the grills on, so the first day we had trouble figuring it out. Never explained how the tanks worked, so after the first day the water backed up into the shower.TV didn’t work (no big deal). Never was able to connect to the Bluetooth radio (again not a big deal).Listing claims that the “cleaning fee is not charged if returned clean” (he has recently changed this on his listing to a standard cleaning fee). We camped for five days and scrubbed the RV top to bottom with the cleaners we brought. It was cleaner and smelled better than when I first stepped in.He still charged us because “there was sand and dog hair in places“, some grease on the grill, and a “skid mark” from my 3 year old in the toilet. True, we did not bring a vacuum cleaner or toilet scrub brush on our camping trip but did scrub the floor on our hands and knees. After paying $900 for the rental it seems like a pretty cheap-skate move to charge a cleaning fee because he had “to clean for an hour before renting it again.” This is probably something the owner should assume responsibility for when it comes to their rental, especially now where there should be cleaning and sanitizing after each use. Makes me wonder how clean it really was when we took over the rental.Outdoorsy has plenty of other options where the owner doesn’t seem intent to nickel and dime you on everything. I would not recommend this rental again.

1 Star? LOL wow! Ryan was absolutely the worst renter I have ever had. He called me late at night three times for easy-to-handle issues that I entertained. One time, for instance, he backed up the toilet with tons of toilet paper in the pipe that leads to the tank; I drove 45 min one way to unclogged it for him immediately because he's never unclogged a toilet before, apparently. It was not water from the waste tank because it was clear and I easily pushed it down with a stick. Sad that he couldn't figure that out. He used the public restroooms because where he was staying, Fort Desoto, does not have a sewer connection and he filled up the grey water tank the first night when I told him he needed to be conservative. Total rookie, and didn't listen to any of my advice. There is no septic, what is he even talking about here. I was not in a hurry when I dropped off the RV, I explained everything that needed explaining and was readily available to answer any and all his questions. For instance, when he called me late at night on July 4th because he set off the propane alarm when left the valve open on the outside stove and his wife was yelling at him to call me, when actually it was all his fault; wonder if he told his wife the truth or blamed it on me in the end. I have a good guess on that one. TV works fine; did he expect Satellite TV while camping; that is not in the rental discription; you will get airwaves, however, but he's not one that could probably figure that out on his own, either. He left the camper disgusting and I should have charged more, but I didn't. I don't generally like to charge a cleaning fee if I don't have to, but this guy gave us no choice. No one should have to clean up your or your child's skid marks in the toilet, gross! What an inconsiderate person Ryan is! Don't worry, I won't rent to you again, ever! And yes, you are the reason I had to add a general cleaning fee, disgusting!

Joseph was nothing short of excellent. Grade A communication from start to finish, made sure we enjoyed ourselves.Will definitely rent again!

Joseph was amazing! The RV was as described, clean and comfortable. Joseph was very attentive and communicated with us throughout the whole trip.

Great experience. Nice trailer for older family of four; lots of space. Recommend sway bars for this trailer if smaller SUV; he can assist.

I booked Joseph's trailer based on the photos and because the communication was good. But when we arrived at Joseph's house, the trailer waiting for us was really dirty from the outside and looked like it had come out of a coal mine. Joseph gave us a tour of the interior and we immediately noticed that there were dead leaves in the bathroom and that it didn't smell clean. When I opened the refrigerator, it wasn't working because Joseph had forgotten to turn it on. I couldn't check to see if it was working because the battery was dead and the trailer wasn't connected to electricity. For all kitchen equipment there were only 4 plates, 4 forks, 4 knives and 4 glasses. I asked to open the awning to see if it wasn't broken and brown water fell on me. At that point, I decided that I would not take the trailer. We tried to get a refund or compensation from Outdoorsy but were unsuccessful. They only offered us $50.00. I'm not renting from Outdoorsy again.

The RV was perfectly fine. All the 5 star reviews before this post were with the RV in the same condition. Some people are just very particular and that's fine, but there was definitely a communication barrier from the beginning since the renter spoke broken English and I do not speak French. The renter never expressed to me the issues and just took off without taking the RV and giving me a chance to address his concerns. He also never filled out any paperwork to support his claims. The RV was rented the following week with glowing remarks from the another renter ...again.

Joseph is a pleasure to work with! He was totally responsive to questions and texts. He delivered the trailer early and it was everything we hoped for. It was exactly as described. Everything was in excellent condition!

Short trip locally for 3 days at a State Park. The unit was perfect for our family size 4 plus a small dog. Everything worked as advertised. Owner took extra time to explain all the amenities and the usage of the trailer. Very friendly and understanding of our special requests. I highly recommend Joseph's units and rental experience from him. TT

This Camper is great, we found it to be comfortable, clean and in good working order. My wife and I really enjoyed our trip.
Joseph is outstanding, excellent communication. Had one very minor equipment issue when we got to camp and Joseph solved it for us immediately. We highly recommend this camper and owner.

The towable camper was perfect for our Thanksgiving camping trip. Had to use the heat one night due to the 35* temperature and the heater worked great and kept the family warm.
