Please review the following guidelines to ensure everyone’s stay is enjoyable.Check-In & Check-Out ProceduresRV & Tent SitesCheck-in: 2:00 PMCheck-out: 12:00 PMEarly arrival may be possible if arranged in advance (additional fees may apply).Please respect check-out times to allow our team to prepare for the next guests.Late check-outs may be arranged in rare cases for an additional fee.While we do our best to accommodate specific site requests, final placement is at the discretion of the on-site manager.RV & Tent Site GuidelinesDepositA 50% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation.Quiet TimeQuiet Hours: 10:00 PM – 8:00 AMPlease keep noise levels down to ensure all guests can enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep.Excessive noise, loud music, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated at any time.Occupancy1 RV per campsite maximum.Tent sites: Maximum of 6 guests per site.TrashBag and tie all trash securely before placing it in dumpsters.Dumpsters are conveniently located near the Country Store/Office and near the Clubhouse.Please keep your site clean for the next campers.General Campground GuidelinesSpeed LimitThe speed limit is 5 MPH throughout the resort for everyone’s safety.Children are at play – please drive carefully!Activity Schedules & HoursHours for the Welcome Center, Country Store, laundromat, and pool area are posted on the activity schedule provided at check-in.Activity and entertainment schedules are posted at the Welcome Center.Major holidays and special events require a 3-night minimum stay.PetsA maximum of two pets per campsite.Pets must be leashed at all times (no invisible fences).Owners are responsible for promptly cleaning up after their pets.CampfiresFires are permitted in designated fire rings or provided grills only.Firewood is available for purchase at the Country Store.Do not cut trees; you may gather fallen limbs.Outside firewood must be locally sourced – burn it where you buy it!Fireworks & FirearmsFireworks are strictly prohibited on resort property.No open carry of firearms is allowed.BB guns, Airsoft guns, pellet guns, and similar items are also prohibited.Pool RulesNo lifeguard on duty – swim at your own risk.Children under 14 must be supervised by an adult (18+).Only bathing suits are permitted – no cut-offs or cotton clothing.Unsafe or disruptive behavior will result in removal from the pool area.ChildrenChildren must be supervised by an adult (18+) at all times.FishingFishing in our lakes is free for registered guests and does not require a state permit.VisitorsVisitors must register at the Country Store/Office upon arrival.Day-use fees may apply.Visitors must depart by 10:00 PM.Recreational Vehicles & Golf CartsOnly licensed drivers age 18+ may operate motorized vehicles in the park.No motorcycles, dirt bikes, or scooters are allowed.Golf carts are permitted, but you must provide a valid and active insurance policy to the office prior to use.Church ServicesLocal church listings and service hours are posted at the Welcome Center.Financial InformationPayments Accepted: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, cash.Sorry, no checks are accepted.Damage Policy:Guests are responsible for damage to sites or property.Charges will be applied immediately to the card on file for any damages.Liability DisclaimerPursuant to Statute: RSMo § 537.328 — Private Campgrounds, Immunity from Liability for Inherent Risks of Camping, Basswood Resort assumes no liability for accidents or injuries that occur during your stay.
