We had an amazing time exploring vancouver Island by campervan, it really is a great way to see it. However, we were a little surprised and disappointed in the condition of the van. It looks great in an Instagram photo and probably looked great when it was converted, but it's now showing its age.

The trip was great, a few things about the van that we weren’t expecting. We were unable to get the reverse camera to work, the water tank fill cover was broken. Apart from this the van was everything we needed.

Overall we were pretty happy with our time in the van. We did have a couple leaks when it rained heavily but luckily they didn't impact our trip too much. Seems like the van needs a bit of TLC and a bit of a better clean between rentals but still a good camper. Would recommend for a summer trip!

The van was very luxurious to camp out of. The sliding door kept getting stuck and needed some decent force to open. Otherwise the van got us where we needed to go and we had a great trip overall!

This was unfortunate as the van went in for a routine maintenance and it was discovered that it would require a bit more attention at the mechanics for some repairs. We apologize for the inconvenience!

This was incredibly unfortunate - there was a
sudden issue with the battery connection to the campervan battery charger. The renters opted to end their trip 2 days early and were refunded accordingly. After returning, we discovered the issue and were able to make the full repair. Upon van inspection, it was discovered that there was a small item missing, in which we opted to have reflected on the damage deposit at the cost of $67 to have it replaced for future renter use.

My experience with Yeahthevan was excellent from start to finish. They were prompt with replies, offered great trip suggestions and the van was awesome! I rented Bella and she was so cute and cozy inside and easy to drive. The van has everything you need and some, highly recommended!

Dean worked hard to finish building the van in time for our honeymoon and went above and beyond to make it extra special! He is an incredible, kind host and was always quick to respond to questions throughout our trip. The van itself was everything we dreamed of and more! Dean literally thought of everything from comfort (the bed is super comfy and the hot shower was lovely after a surf in the chilly Pacific!) to the little things like all the cutlery and kitchen utensils you need to cook killer meals (cheese grater, corkscrew etc.) He is an electrical genius, including multiple power outlets and a dimmer light which are powered by a solar panel by day and the engine when the van is running. We never went below 98% on the power meter! The van is fully stocked and ready for you, just bring your food and clothes. We absolutely loved living the vanlife for a week and only wish we booked for longer! We can’t wait to see #yeahthevan continue to grow and will be back for more adventures in the future/sending all of our friends and family to Dean!
