There are eight of these sites, most of which are back in, and as well as having 30 and 50 amp options, these sites also have to option of 20 amp. There is also a group campsite that has a barracks and a dining hall that can hold 94 people.

There is a range of attractions nearby such as the Eisenhower Birthplace State Historic State, which where the 34th U.S. President Dwight David “Ike” Eisenhower was born in 1890. The house is full of antique furnishings, which helps to illustrate their working-class life. There is also a visitors center which is filled with memorabilia and exhibits which tell the story of his life as both the president and a war hero. The town of Bonham itself is full of interesting historical places to visit, such as the Fannin County Museum, the Fort Inglish Park and Fannin County Courthouse. The Fannin County Museum contains a fascinating array of exhibits which tells the story of Fannin County, beginning before the Texas Revolution until almost present day, all of which is housed in a restored 1900's Texas and Pacific Railway depot. Bonham is also your go-to when it comes to shopping and dining, with a packed calendar of events. There is also the relatively new attraction of the Barn Quilt Trail, the largest in Texas, with over 100 quilt squares and counting. Rent a motorhome at Bonham State Park to be within easy reach of these attractions. Another fun place to visit that is just a short drive away is the Grayson County Frontier Village and Museum. The village has been designated Grayson County’s official museums, however, it is a little different from some of the more common museum concepts. Between Denison and Sherman, the museum is made up for more than a dozen historic buildings from 1840 and 1900 located on a 17-acre county park.
