Arizona is a year-round RV destination! All 4 seasons offer prime locations to explore. Winter (Nov-Feb) is definitely the time to explore around Phoenix or any parts of the Sonoran Desert, with picture-perfect weather & scenery. Hiking trails, lakes, festivals & outdoor markets abound. The Spring (March-April) is the quintessential time to go exploring nearly any part of the state. The deserts (& high-country, alike) come to life with an amazing array of vibrant wildflowers, both atop mighty saguaros & throughout the meadows of the North. Late April-early May is the BEST time to head toward Sonoita, Willcox or Sierra Vista for prime birding season, not to mention some pretty amazing wine from AZ’s original wineries! If joining us in the warmer/summer months (May-Sept), head up North or East toward Flagstaff or the White Mountains, where the temperatures tend to be at least 25 degrees cooler than in the scorching Valley of the Sun. We have ventured to nearly every speck of land in this beautiful state, so if you would like more specific recommendations of what to see, do & where to go to do it, please don’t hesitate to ask!
