I can’t say enough about how AWESOME Josh is!! The van is in great shape and a smooth ride. It has everything you need to build core memories and gives you the freedom to really wonder these beautiful deserts. My son is 6’3” and was able to sleep comfortably in the bed. The deck on top is where it’s at! You could see the looks of jealousy while we were eating our steak dinner on it while enjoying one of Arizona's beautiful sunsets. The van is very easy to drive doesn’t feel like your driving a monster camper around. Overall this whole experience was life changing and was not possible with out Josh and outdoorsy! Josh thank you again for allowing use to experience Beethoven!!! We will be seeing you again my friend!

Josh’s van has it all! It was a wonderful trip to AZ, perfect can for two. We had lovely nights in dispersed areas and enjoyed the stars at night, along with the projector- honestly great added feature! The van was clean, had all the thoughtful things we needed, highly recommended!

What an excellent van! So cozy on cold nights, perfect for 2 people and a dog. Everything was easy to operate and worked great. Josh was an exceptional host and took great care of us. Would highly recommend Beethoven for your next trip!

This was our first time using Outdoorsy and Josh made everything so easy and smooth. Communication was great! Josh was always available to quickly answer any questions or issues we had; prior, during and after. We did a ten day trip up through AZ and Utah. The van had absolutely everything we needed for our adventure and was easy to drive. We were worried about being cold up in the mountains but the heater at night kept us nice and toasty. Everything about the van was easy to use and navigate. We had a slight mechanical issue with the water pump but Josh responded immediately and we were able to work through it. We had an amazing, stress free trip thanks to Josh and his great van!

Josh and the RV Beethoven were tremendous hosts. The RV is great and Josh set us up for success. At one point I accidentally turned something on which caused an issue. Josh and I were on the phone instantly and had fixed it 3 minutes later. Fantastic host, fantastic RV, fantastic trip!

5 stars all the way! We loved renting this camper van "Beethoven"! Josh couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful. We were picked up at the airport, Josh gave us the tour of the vehicle, handed us the keys and said have fun. The van's length is in the 21ft sweet spot, easly getting in to camp site spots and most, if not all, parking spots that have under 22ft limits.
The van is easy to drive and has twice the full economy of a class C RV. The roof-top mounted solar panels had no problem maintaining the battery system which powered the fridge, lights, AC inverter and two exhaust fans, which kept you cool at night. The comfortable bed, counter top with sink and running water, propane cook top and dry flush toilet where all pluses. Our Sedona/Grand Canyon trip couldn't have been more fun and memorable thanks to Josh and Beethoven.
We highly recommend and will rent from him again!!

Our trip last weekend was absolutely perfect! Josh was responsive quickly with every message and question we had! We traveled from Phoenix to Flagstaff and Sedona and did lots of hiking. The rental was the perfect size for our needs with it just being the two of us. Thanks, Josh, for everything!

The van was great! A smooth ride. Excellent communication with Josh. Everything in the van was easy to use and instructions were spot-on. Toilet worked wonders :) Even mailed us a few things we left in the van! Never ran out of power and heater worked great at night. He really thought of everything. We will definitely rent this again!

Our adventure through AZ was incredible. Josh dropped the van off in Scottsdale for us, and walked through every aspect before we began. Over 6 days we explored the legendary Mountain bike trails in Sedona, went skiing in the mountains of Flagstaff, and Experienced the Grand canyon for the first time. We did mostly Free or "dispersed" camping in the van and It was reliable and functional the entire way through. It is easy to drive and has more visibility than you would expect, and it made for an easy, stress free experience. Josh was an awesome host. He was genuinely interested in our adventure and was quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had along the way. My wife and I will never forget this experience, and are so thankful to Josh and "Beethoven" for helping us check a few things off our bucket list.

Josh. Was amazing and a great RV rental host. Our communication was excellent and the RV van was exactly how it was shown in the Outdoorsy site. We truly enjoyed our trip and the van performed excellent. The equipment was up to standard as prescribed in Outdoorsy. Josh meet us at our hotel as we arrived in in Phoenix AZ and he showed us the system on how to run and operate. We travel close to 1000 miles during our amazing trip in AZ. I can not say enough how professional Josh was. At the end of our trip we dropped it off at his place and he took us in to our hotel. I would highly recommend Josh and the van and will rent the van again.

Five stars. This was our second RV trip. I'll compare to Cruise America in case anyone is considering that option. Last year we rented a 21-foot Cruise America RV (slept 2 plus child) that was less expensive per day but the Cruise America RV got only 10 MPG (!), lots of wind noise while driving (music/radio not possible), drove like a small U-Haul truck (not that easy), and must go every couple of days to full-hookup campsites. Beethoven was so much better than the Cruise America RV. So much better! What we loved about Beethoven: 21 feet (good for length-restricted curvy roads); easy to drive and quieter inside; 18-20 MGP highway; extremely efficient with its solar panels and diesel-powered furnace for cold nights/mornings meant we did not need campground hookups (only water was needed); indoor hot shower & dry-flush toilet; driver's and passenger's chairs swiveled to face each other or the rear; refrigerator held a lot; plenty of storage space for clothes & personal items & food; can charge multiple electronic devices at the same time (outlets, USB-A, one USB-C). Windows on all sides for great views. Rooftop deck for 360 views. Bluetooth radio and backup camera. Furnace for cold nights and the two ceiling fans worked well (it was December & January, so we used the furnace almost every night and less used the ceiling fans). We drove over 1,500 miles with no engine or vehicle issues: Beethoven is well maintained.

The trip was 'too short' but otherwise great. We had just three days to visit Tucson & some of the nearby parks. Seeing the city, surrounding nature and warm weather were all wonderful. The van ran perfectly and all the stuff inside made for a very comfortable trip. Josh was very accommodating and helpful with everything. We would go again in a minute!!

Josh was amazing, very prompt in responding, picked us up from our hotel, and made check out simple. He answered any questions we had, sent up coordinates to a free camping spot and set us up for the perfect adventure. Couldn’t have been happier with the van itself. As "advertised" by other reviewers, Josh's RV was terrific and we can't imagine a better RV owner to deal with than Josh. From the first message to the last goodbye, Josh was incredibly helpful, responsive, and patient. As newbies to the van life, we had a lot of questions. Josh spent time with us explaining the van and reassuring us we should just focus on having fun. After two weeks of living the van life, my only words of wisdom are don’t debate it any longer, book this van and GO! The van ran like a top, the solar kept us powered, water refills were simple and we had enough refrigerator space to keep our bellies full. We did both dispersed camping and campgrounds traveling thru Zion, Bryce, Capital Reef, Arches, Moab, Monument Valley, Page, Lee’s Ferry, and both rims of the Grand Canyon. We traveled in comfort and loved the freedom of having our accommodations with us. I can assure you. From booking to travel, and a ride back to the airport from Josh, he is just as vested in your enjoyment as you are.

Josh was fantastic to work with! We arrived in Phoenix from Canada and he had a ton of great tips for us new to Van Life! Beethoven was the best way to explore the Grand Canyon! It was clean and stocked with what you would need to tidy up, fix a meal and even a keurig for coffee in the morning! We loved stargazing off the top deck, being able to have a shower, and having a fully equip van waiting for us at the trailhead after a day hiking to the bottom of the canyon! Thanks Josh!

After spending more than a decade tent camping, we decided to try out a van to visit several of the southwest national parks. Beethoven had every thing we could think of stocked and made camping and traveling so much less stressful. The van itself it well designed with significant storage, high end finishes, and some serious luxuries (hot showers, a toilet, and a heater and fans). It was so comforting to pull to know we could simply pull over for the night and not have to set up a tent or drag our luggage into a hotel room. Beethoven was also easy to drive and park. The whole experience was extremely positive and Josh spent a lot of time orienting us to the van and responded within minutes whenever we had a question. We definitely recommend giving this a try if you’re interested in camping without all of the stress and grumpiness :) Thanks for letting us take Beethoven on an adventure!

Incredible experience! Josh was fantastic and communicative and the van had absolutely everything we needed to travel to northern Arizona including Antelope Canyon, Horseshoe Bend and Monument Valley. We were all set for a winter adventure, warm and comfortable. Can’t wait to do it again!

Beethoven is the "Golden Standard" for Camper Vans.
I planned a Mountain Biking Trip with my Son in the Area (over his ThxGiving Break from GCU), we were able to put all the time necessary in to planning and enjoying the Trip, as Beethoven is so simple to Operate and Set-Up the Comforts Just like Home. Very Cozy, easy to Drive and Maneuver.
Josh has done an amazing job explaining the Functionality of the Van and offer insight in to the Phoenix area and surroundings.
Were booking him next year! :).

We had the best time with Beethoven! This camper van was everything we could have hoped for and we're already missing cruising around, watching movies on the projector, and sleeping under the stars -- from the comfort of a bed! Josh was a perfect host - incredibly helpful and responsive, and did everything he could to make sure we had a great time.

Excellent experience and once in a lifetime vacation provided through Josh and his unique campervan. Josh went above and beyond to make sure we were well prepared and comfortable. The rental experience, campervan, and equipment is near perfect design for a stress free vacation and Josh will continuously optimize the experience for future renters based on feedback.

Josh is great with helping out with anything we needed. The van is clean and well equipped for many adventures. The toilet is extremely easy to use, I’d imagine it is the best kind for a camper van. The water tank was enough for 2 of us taking shower every night and washing dishes, and I would fill up the tank at the campgrounds every morning and that would be enough for another day. (I learned that picking a campsite space closest to the water dump station would make life easier.) The only thing I wished we had was an AC unit for the time of the year we went for the trip, in the middle of August and visiting Page, AZ at 80-100f even at night. The van did great with air ventilation when we visited Bryce Canyon with a cool 70f night temperature, below 70f in the Grand Canyon, and Zion was a bit too warm at 78-80f for us. So if we picked the right time and location to visit, everything would’ve been perfect with this Van!

We had a great trip. Josh explained all aspects of the vehicle before we took off on our venture. We drove a lot of miles, and camped in some beautiful places. Also stopped for a couple great lunches. The van ran fantastic, and we had a blast. We will be renting again. All we needed as far as amenities was included. Highly recommend.

I can’t say enough nice things about Josh and his van!! What a great guy we are so happy to have picked out this van. The shower was great and easy to use the toilet made it easier in camp sites that didn’t offer toilets or had sketchy out houses. We always felt safe and cozy. Josh has a great van and hooks you up with everything you may need. We will always remember this trip!!
