We absolutely loved the minivan. It was in perfect order, fully gassed and ready to go. The conversion to a bed was very simple. Traian provided everything that we could've needed and then some. As opposed to the slightly larger camper vans, it had doors on both sides which meant one didn't have to crawl over the other in the middle of the night when nature called. The whole experience was great and Traian was easy to work with. We will hope to rent again next time we come to CA

We rented Triains Van to drive up to Humbolt Redwoods State Park. We stayed for 3 very comfortable nights sleeping in the van. The Van was great to drive and Triain provided all the equipment we needed to camp/ cook/
and enjoy our stay in the park. Connecting with Triain was easy and he was always helpful. I highly recommend renting from him. A great deal!

This converted minivan works wonderfully as a compact camper. Traian's design for the folding bed and storage space is ingenious. He also is very thoughtful about supplying the van with everything you might need or want, from dental floss, sheets and pillows, to water, cooking stove and eating utensils, and even a nice bottle of wine - everything. Traian is also very responsive to any questions or requests that you might have.
The only spoiler of our trip was the Outdoorsy roadside assistance and damage insurance, which were unnecessary and useless expenses. We should have looked further into this before buying the insurance. If you already have roadside assistance from AAA or AARP, you don't need to buy it again from Outdoorsy. If you have a credit card that provides collision damage insurance on rental cars, you don't need more. In fact, the $1500 deductible on Outdoorsy's insurance will actually prevent you from getting any reimbursement if the cost of repairs is under the deductible. Check your credit card's policies.
So our recommendation is to rent from Traian if you can, but avoid the unnecessary insurance that Outdoorsy pushes.

Had an excellent trip!! Traian was very accommodating with our pick up and drop off times. Excellent communication. Van was perfect, exactly as advertised and had some bonus features like camping chairs, table, charging cable, speaker, etc that I wasn't expecting which was super nice! Definitely would recommend this rv to anyone!
