2016 DNM Teardrop Trailers 5’x8’
Teardrop camping is great! Instead of spending time closed inside an Rv, you can enjoy the outdoors more luxurious then sleeping on the ground in a tent! You’ll find you spend more time in nature camping in a teardrop trailer then a traditional Rv, you get to cook outdoors in the kitchen outback while enjoying the campfire and visiting with other campers:) This teardrop is equipped with a queen bed inside with lots of shelves and storage inside. It has a comfortable 3 piece fold up mattress and double doors to make it easier to climb in and out. The bed is 6’2” so most people can sleep in it comfortably. It even has a stargazer window you can lay back and enjoy gazing at the night sky. Also another great feature is the power roof vent to keep you cool during the summer. In the galley you have a sink with electric pump that you can pump water out of a portable water jug if the campground isn’t equipped with a water hose connection. There are 2 drawers to store and put supplies in, as well as a cooler slideout to make it easier to access your cold items.Following is what is included so you don’t have to pack so much!:)Sheets and pillow cases

Duane was great to work with although the trailer wasn’t delivered until about 7 PM and he couldn’t pick it up until hours after we left, he was great to work with made everything easy and the trailer was great. I thoroughly enjoyed and will rent from Duane again!

Trailer: The trailer was fine. It served its purpose. We got lots of compliments on the looks of it. It was just the right size for me and my 6' partner. The mattress was ok, but typical for camping. The supplies that were provided also worked but were just ok. The lifts that held open the back broke on the second to last day and that was frustrating to deal with.

Trailer was great. We brought our own bedding and dishes since i never want to risk something missing. Weather was 104f where we camped (Bend,OR). Loved both doors had windows and ceiling fan to draft. Fan was a little noisy so we had to turn off but it helped draw the hot air. Easy trailer to pull with our SUV. Came equipped with hose, extension cord, coleman stove etc. Everything worked. Nice kitchen area. We didn’t use the kitchen tent since too hot.
On pickup We had a issue with wiring harness since a new one installed that didn’t work. Duane put the old one back on and we were on our way. I would rent again. Great for 2 people and our little dog loved it. Mattress comfy but next time i would bring our thin blow up hiking mattresses for just a little more hip padding; since i am a side sleeper.

We arrived, and the person meeting us (not Duane) asked if we were going anywhere that would be raining, as the trailer had caulking issues and would leak. Then he said that he did not have keys. He went to find keys while we hooked up the trailer. We discovered that the wiring harness was too short for our 4Runner. Went to Harbor Freight to buy an extender. We returned and once the wires were hooked up, the brake lights/turn signals would not work. The gentleman hooked up to his vehicle also, still not working. Called Duane, and he said that it had to be both of our vehicles that didn't work, not the trailer. We left without the trailer, and asked Duane to cancel our trip. Luckily we had originally planned to tent camp, so our trip was not a complete disaster.
