With all the upgrades & comfort in our Glamping Chateau 28Z you will enjoy all the conveniences of home away from home. We call this glamorous camping - "Glamping"!
Please let us know if you have RV experience and your travel destination plans when you're inquiring about the Chateau. We DO NOT Allow our RV to go to Burning Man Festivals, off-roading, or out of the country to Canada or Mexico.We are located in the Monterey Bay, south of San Francisco & San Jose's Silicon Valley in Santa Cruz, CA. Santa Cruz & Montery Bay has beyond beautiful beaches, wineries & nature galore. Reserve an RV site for beach life: surfing & whale watching! You can hike, bike or catch a steam train through the Redwoods. Don't forget to ride the Giant Dipper at the Santa Cruz Boardwalk!Our Thor Chateau coach features 1 slide-out in the living area & sleeps 6-8 people. Class C RV's have a sleeping area above the driver & passenger seats that is great for the kiddos! Additionally it has mega outside storage compartment to load all those goodies designed for glamping.Driving is easy with the back-up camera and cameras on the left & right mirrors. The cameras activate when you use the blinkers which helps tremendously while trekking down the road or backing into your RV site.We want your glamping experience to be comfortable. Our Chateau supplies basic kitchen cookware, cooking utensils, bowls, pots & pans, plates, silverware, drinking cups, mugs, s'more sticks, coffeemaker, lantern & camping chairs. Specific RV toilet paper & paper goods like paper towels, foil, baggies, gloves & kitchen trash bags. It will be up to you to pack your favorite spices, coffee, tea & foods. Bring your toiletries, bed linens, pillows, towels, wood for the campfire, Blu-Ray, games & toys. All the fun stuff for glamping!Depending on if your plans are dry camping, partial or full hook-ups & how many travelers - will determine what/how to pack. Feel free to ask questions. The Glamping Chateau 28 Z has 4 sleeping areas: Master bed Q/F, Upper-cab Q/F and Jack knife sofa & dinette are Twins.6. We do an orientation with our renters. Don will go over the interior/exterior use RV features, maintenance of tank levels, Q&A, & driving tips. We will do this meeting on the day of departure. We should set our meeting time to include about 2 hrs for orientation.7. Would you be interested in having the RV delivered (within 50 miles)? The round trip cost for delivery & set-up is $300, NOT including fuel costs for the RV or delivery car.8. Have a traveling pet? There's an extra pet fee & refundable security deposit $250 and day charge $20/day. We'd need reassurance that your pet is well-behaved, doesn't have anxiety, will not be left unattended or smell or damage the RV.Our meeting place is at our indoor storage facility located at:

Don was incredibly knowledgeable and provided valuable guidance fof our trip. his assistance was greatly appreciated, as he was informative and helpful. The RV itself was impeccably clean and fully stocked, leaving us to only bring food and minor supplies. Both Rachel and Don were consistently responsive and helpful, making the experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend renting from them.

We had a wonderful experience glamping in Rachel and Don's beautiful and pristine RV. We would love to make this an annual tradition. We didn't meet Rachel in person, but Don was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We have nothing bad to say about any part of this experience!

Don and Rachel are wonderful. Their RV is very nice, clean and stocked with everything you'll need to make your RV experience fun. We would highly recommend their rig for your camping plans. We had a great trip. We did delivery and pickup of the RV at our campsite so Don and Rachel arrived right on time to help setup the RV and give us the tour. We dry camped and had everything we needed to have a great glamping experience (pots, pans, TP/PT, soap plates and cutlery, mugs, etc.). We fit a pack n play between the dinette and couch for the baby, which fit perfectly. The generator and water pump worked great when we need to wash dishes and the stove, microwave and coffee maker were great. We used the outdoor shower to wash dishes, per Don’s suggestion, which was great. We did not drive, so cannot speak to that. An outdoor rug was included which helped for outdoor play for our little ones. We would definitely rent again! Upon pickup, they, again, were there right in schedule to close out the rental.

Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
R.
We work with you on scheduling your pick-up & orientation of the RV. Plan on 2 hrs for a thorough walk-through. Prep, pack & shop accordingly so that you get to your RV site to set up before dark.
Returning the RV is 3-5pm to home base (before dark). If the RV is returned later than 5pm, the Renter will be required to pay an extra day rate of $275.
Q.Do you rent your RV for Burning Man Festivals?

Unfortunately NO we do NOT allow our rig to go to Burning Man or near Black Rock during the Labor day Festival time frame or thereabout.

Q.Why is your security deposit $2000?
R.
You are required to return the RV in the same condition as it was at the time of pickup (clean on the interior & exterior and in full working order). Cleaning & any variable changes may be assessed and charged against the $2K deposit. If incidental things happened on your trek, we'll utilize a portion for repairs & damages.
