Our trip would not have been the same without the van. Did everything that we needed and got us where we needed to be. Is it as comfy as hotel room beds? No. But will you make great memories roughing it in the mountains at campgrounds with a loved one. Absolutely. Joey was very informative and was always on time. His communication was good and in another life I would probably be friends with him if I lived closer. A van life trip in Banff is the way to go, book yours and support Joey and his family!

We had a great time in the van! All the practical amenities were included in the price. The bed was comfortable. The host was welcoming and accessible. We will rebook for sure next time!

We had such a perfect trip in the Traveling Hermit! As former vanners, we felt like we were picking up right where we left off. Joey has done a great job renovating the van for life on the road - the practical details that make a van a temporary, functional home were notable. We would definitely rent from Joey again.

First lets go over the good stuff:The bad
- The van is old and everything inside it is the cheapest solution
- bed is only suitable for folks under 5'9
- storage made out of particle board. One of the hinges broke the first day and pinched my finger. It broke skin and I bled.
- the seatbelt broke. The host was responsive but had almost no empathy. He definitely tried to help but had a "just duct tape it" (he said that) attitude. Safety equipment is not something you skimp on Sir.

Dear Lecayle,At New Age, we offer a diverse range of vehicles, each with its unique features, styles, and advantages. The vehicle you selected happens to have a smaller bed, but we also have other vans available with beds as long as 6'8". It's important to note that our vans are constructed using structural board, known for its superior strength compared to conventional particle board, even exceeding commercial RV standards.Regarding the issues you mentioned, I was genuinely surprised to hear about them, as they would typically require a significant amount of force to damage a seat belt or structural board. I apologize if my initial response seemed lacking in empathy, but I was genuinely taken aback by the situation. Nevertheless, I dedicated four hours to contacting various garages, auto parts suppliers, and personal contacts within a one-hour radius of your location in an attempt to find a solution. Unfortunately, the timing was challenging as these issues occurred during the weekend, and I couldn't source a solution until the weekday.

We had an unforgettable 2-week trip in this RV. Joey picked us up from the airport and took the time to show to us how everything in the van worked. We also had a test drive with some local road instructions included which was great as we are not used to driving this type of vehicle. We did not need serviced sites or the generator for our entire trip as the battery was charged sufficiently during each drive for what we needed. The van had everything we needed and was very nice to drive, even over passes and switchbacks there were no problems. We can highly recommend renting from New Age Travel & Service as they provided great service and a wonderful experience. Thanks a lot Joey.

We went on a 5 day trip in the Traveling Hermit that we named Frodo. It was an unforgettable experience. It was a beautiful place to begin with that was amplified by Frodo! It was comfortable. Joey was incredibly helpful, responsive, kind, and so thoughtful with everything that went Into the van.

Joey is awesome. The van was exactly what we needed. Joey gave us great suggestions for hiking in Banff/Jasper. He absolutely knows the area, we did one of his suggested hikes and it was the best one we did. I appreciated that he randomly checked in on us, he definitely cares for his vans, but also wants to make sure you enjoy your trip!

J'ai passé trois semaines dans les rocheuses avec le van de Joey. Tout a été parfait. Merci beaucoup a Joey grace a qui j'ai passé de super belles vacances. Je recommande sans hésiter !

We had a lovely road trip out to Vancouver Island, camping all along the way and back. The van is well built and well thought out, everything that you might need is provided. The solar panel and battery combo is perfect for charging all your devices. There is tons of storage to keep all of your stuff organized throughout your trip. Joey & Frances were great to deal with and very responsive.

Très belle aventure à bord de notre camper à travers les rocheuses canadiennes. Joey est très organisé et disponible. Le camper est parfait pour un Road trip, nous avons adoré notre expérience. Nous le recommandons sans hésité 👌🏽

The RV was great, perfect for a road-trip in the rockies! Joey thought about everything : the portable toilet and shower were a big asset. The bed is really comfy and you have everything you could need! Plus Joey is available at all time and very nice!
We warmly recommend New Age Travel!! :)

It was very comfortable and fun to explore. Easy to drive, cook, comfortable sleep. It was very cold for early fall and Joey provided winter sleeping bags - we didn't think we would need them when we booked, but they were critical when overnight temps were 16 degrees F. Thanks for a great experience, Joey!

We had an amazing time with this perfect van ! It was our first camper van experience and I’m glad we went for Joey’s professionalism ! He made it very easy and clear, even though we had a hard time with outdoorsy ! (Our documents and deposit were still pending the day before renting)
I fell in love with the whole travel with van concept and hope I’ll rent this one again :)
We went to the Rockies and we felt safe, cozy and free ! The van was very clean, comfy and so pretty :) Don’t hesitate to rent this gem.
