The van was well equipped with all that we needed. Blankets and bedding were warm and comfortable

The pictures in the listing are not of the actual van. I was expecting something a little nicer. The van we received was in rough shape and beat up. A turn signal light was broken and the washer fluid was empty when when we picked it up. One of the folding chairs was broken. Drawers didn’t shut properly. We didn’t bother using the dishes as we weren’t sure the last time they were cleaned. Overall, the van got us to where we wanted to go and the bedding and heater kept us warm at night. The 200 miles a day gave us plenty of miles to explore.

Overall for the money, this is as a good value and it did what I wanted it to do, it kept me warm at night and got me where I needed to go. But…the van had some mechanical issues and was constantly telling me it was overdue on service, needed coolant, and at one point the parking break wouldn’t turn off, at another point the van was in drive and refused to go forward. I would give it gas and it wouldn’t even respond. Also, it was an incredibly rough ride. You really can’t get very far with this van as it’s not 4wd and can barely tolerate 2wd.

Trip was great! The van had everything we needed. Our little family of four fit great. Pick up and drop off went smoothly.

We enjoyed our trip, but a few things with the van: we were not given correct instructions on how to use the heat and hot water using the Truma controller- they need to tell people this instead of telling us to use the remote control does not work for anything but the fan. we used the Qr code to figure it out eventually but did have cell reception so had a cold first night. We suggest you print out those instructions. A few things did not work:

Discover Campervans were easy and responsive to communicate with, and accommodating with our odd-hours travel plans.
The camper van was an easy driver, pretty fuel efficient and battery power in the van was sufficient for multiple days of camping out without a recharge.
The van’s heater came in handy while camping out in the very cold mountain nights.
Winter van camping required some hardiness but was a big step above car camping! We were able to explore remote places in southern AZ and have a little kitchen and warm space to spend the night.
We made good use of the provided table and camp chairs, and could lay in bed with the rear doors open to the warm sun.
