This is our 2nd experience on Outdoorsy and found it to be extraordinarily lower in overall rating from the last rental we had which was highly positive. In summary the amenities, cleanliness, drive-train and usage of this vehicle were sub-par IMHO.* Upon receipt of the van it was dirty. It had sand everywhere around the entryways, rear below the bed, passenger and driver mats. Basically every crack and crevice. We look at an Outdoorsy rental (which is not a cheap way to travel!) as a portable hotel room that is built for adventure. Hotel rooms are clean; even a Motel 6 is clean. This van was not. There were long blond hairs stuck to the dash, the seats, even the door handles. Not what I expect from a costly rental. It was quite clear that the vehicle was not professionally cleaned.* The vehicle does not have cruise control. IMHO, this is a long-distance focused vehicle and it is very heavy. Getting it to move required a physical pedal push up mountains for hours and hours. Not cool and honestly made the journey really tiring; we know because of prior experience in vehicles that have cruise. The difference was night and day. This should be called out in the vehicle description because it's a game-changer for the worse. When we rented this I had no idea that vehicles in 2021 did not come standard with cruise control - live and learn. Huge disappointment for 6+ hour trips in a heavy van.* Most vans or RVs have a gray water tank that is a proper tank emptied via gravity. This van has a plastic jug under the sink that weighs a lot when full and has to be manually lugged in and out. This is because it does not have a proper sewage and disposal system (the shower drains onto the ground - not kidding). If you want to use water in the van, be wary of this. It is not a complete build-out.

Crystal and Macy were awesome hosts! They were super communicative from the start of the booking through the end of our return. They were also very thorough and detailed when doing the walk through on the van with us to make sure we were comfortable and knew exactly how to use everything. The van itself was super rad! Very spacious, functional and easy to drive. The bed was super comfortable, the fridge kept everything we needed super cool (which was necessary as we were camping in the Mojave desert). I would absolutely rent from them again and highly recommend the van for your adventure!

Crystal and Macy’s RV was perfect for our trip. It had every feature we would want—inside and outside shower, toilet, sink, kitchen. We just used the RV for sleeping though, as we the campground we visited had toilets and showers, and we were with a group that brought its own kitchen. The RV was in great shape, with everything functional. The interior was tastefully done. And the best part for my daughter and her friends was the roof deck, which gave them a commanding view of the campground and would be awesome at a spot like the beach. This is a wonderful RV for two, and we look forward to renting it again.

We had such a great time in Macy and Crystal’s van! It was our first time in a camper van and we were so impressed! It drove so easily, the heat and AC worked great, everything was in like new condition, and there is so much storage space! The refrigerator kept everything cold all weekend. And they were so great to work with! Absolutely would rent again!
