Quicksilver was awesome! John and his father Michael are awesome people and were so friendly, the flexibility of the pick up and drop of of the car was very accommodating, Michael even drove us to the bus stop after drop off. I highly highly recommend any of their cars for your next trip. They are real outdoor people so totally clicked with them. Thanks again for making our trip so great!

Our first camping experience was fantastic, thanks to John! The camper had everything we needed and more—including water, a table, cutlery, and thoughtful extras that exceeded our expectations.

My brother and I came all the way from Germany and had the best time! The campervan had everything we needed and more! It was also very easy to drive. But most important to say: John was an incredible host! We would absolutely recommend John and his campers to everyone!

Blackberry the van was amazing! She took us all around Vancouver Island and brought us some of our best memories. It had everything we needed, we used the beach chairs on some of the most beautiful beaches in Canada. The bed was super comfy for two. We loved every minute of it and will definitely be returning to use her again.

We had a wonderful time travelling with Eugene. The car has everything you need to be comfortable and ready to travel. John is a very kind host and was always fast to answer any of our questions. I would 100% recommend him for your future travels!

We’ve called John the day before our trip for the availability. We had special requests for the pickup and the drop off but he assisted us with clear communication and kindness. The Van is small but it had everything for our road trip, the bed is comfortable, and when you take a bit confidence it feels like a little home.

Renting Helen was a joy from the start and meeting John to exploring to handing her back. John is a charming person who is clearly passionate about the upkeep of his vehicles and your guest experience. I couldn't tell that Helen was a 40 year old vehicle. She's very well maintained, sounds sweet as a nut and the space she gives you inside is incredible. She's great fun to drive too. The bed is very comfortable and I love the option to turn the bed into bench seats too. Bluetooth radio allow personalised tunes and the camping set up is fairly comprehensive, just make sure to bring your own spices, seasoning and cooking oils/tupperware if you need.

The BlackBerry was a great van - tons of space for belongings, comfortable bed, and John had it supplied with all the essentials. It made our trip around the island stress-free. John was incredibly helpful and friendly, and I wouldn’t hesitate to rent from him again!

We had a great time! The car is easy to drive and so comfortable to sleep in. It was equipped with everything we needed for camping, and John was a really nice host. Highly recommended!

Renting from John was nothing short of perfect! I had high expectations because of his previous reviews, but John went above and beyond to help ensure I had the best trip possible. I rented Raspberry for a week long solo trip around the island, and the van had everything I needed, took me everywhere I needed to go, and then some. John’s communication was prompt and thoughtful, and he even helped me with things/answered questions that I had that had nothing to do with the van itself, but helped improve my trip as a whole. John is kind, caring, passionate about his business, and is extremely knowledgeable about the island as he grew up there. I would 110% recommend renting a camper from John for your next trip to Vancouver Island, and I will definitely be back to do so myself!

John is flexible, available and responsive ! The van is practical and can go anywhere. The perfect way to visit the island!! 100% recommand the van to visit the island!
