Such a wonderful way to get around the island. Has everything you’ll need and the service was excellent. No issues with the vehicle at all. Very comfortable

Renting Helen was a joy from the start and meeting John to exploring to handing her back. John is a charming person who is clearly passionate about the upkeep of his vehicles and your guest experience. I couldn't tell that Helen was a 40 year old vehicle. She's very well maintained, sounds sweet as a nut and the space she gives you inside is incredible. She's great fun to drive too. The bed is very comfortable and I love the option to turn the bed into bench seats too. Bluetooth radio allow personalised tunes and the camping set up is fairly comprehensive, just make sure to bring your own spices, seasoning and cooking oils/tupperware if you need.

The BlackBerry was a great van - tons of space for belongings, comfortable bed, and John had it supplied with all the essentials. It made our trip around the island stress-free. John was incredibly helpful and friendly, and I wouldn’t hesitate to rent from him again!

We had a great time! The car is easy to drive and so comfortable to sleep in. It was equipped with everything we needed for camping, and John was a really nice host. Highly recommended!

Renting from John was nothing short of perfect! I had high expectations because of his previous reviews, but John went above and beyond to help ensure I had the best trip possible. I rented Raspberry for a week long solo trip around the island, and the van had everything I needed, took me everywhere I needed to go, and then some. John’s communication was prompt and thoughtful, and he even helped me with things/answered questions that I had that had nothing to do with the van itself, but helped improve my trip as a whole. John is kind, caring, passionate about his business, and is extremely knowledgeable about the island as he grew up there. I would 110% recommend renting a camper from John for your next trip to Vancouver Island, and I will definitely be back to do so myself!

John is flexible, available and responsive ! The van is practical and can go anywhere. The perfect way to visit the island!! 100% recommand the van to visit the island!

We rented Raspberry for an 8-day road trip around Vancouver Island. Raspberry is an old lady, but she has everything you need. Her host, John, is the kind of rental host you don’t come across very often: always available, friendly, and accommodating. He helped us end our trip in the best possible way, and we are incredibly grateful to him. I would wholeheartedly recommend both Raspberry and John! 😊

We had a wonderful two weeks with Eugene and John was easy to communicate with, kind and responsive. Nice central pickup close to buses and downtown and her lowkey vibe made it easy to find a good pull out and have a sleep. We would highly recommend:)

We loved Raspberry the Van , great set up and friendly host , John was very responsive during the trip . Missed our gas bottle / cooker … lucky we had our own but everything else was excellent , camp chairs , drinking water, charging cables & cutlery / esky , comfy bed too 🫶👏👏👏

amazing experience! I couldn't have asked for a friendlier host or a more convenient vehicle for going camping. host was communicative, polite and accommodating. I highly recommend!!!

The van we originally booked was not available but John hooked us up with a replacement. Great communication and the camping kit had everything we needed.
