All was perfect with the RV and Alex is a super host. He is very quick in replying if you have any questions. All was working with the RV and ot is very nice to drive with it as the F350 has a lot of power.

Great experience. We traveled to the Grand Canyon and to Colorado. We spent 7 nights in the camper, and we put about 4000 miles on her without issue. Would rent again

We are a couple from Australia in our early 30’s.
Rented the truck for 3 weeks.
It was excellent & felt like a mini home.Note: Do not expect a brand new interior.
It is a little bit used & worn inside but everything works perfectly. It has an “older” feel about it.
Great oven & fridge/freezer.Bathroom is a great size and you can comfortably have a shower & use the toilet in privacy.
The bed was large & comfortable.
Lots of storage within the cabin area and being a 4 door, we were able to leave our suitcases in the backseats.
Air conditioner works so well. The generator supplied is quiet & we used it often.
The outdoor storage compartments were great for firewood/wet items (they don’t lock so don’t put anything of value in them)There were a few MINOR issues - no Jerry can for fuel for the generator and no pole for the awning which made using it a little annoying as we had to manually role it in and out. These are both very minor issues & I believe Alex will rectify both.The vehicle itself uses approx. 35l/100km but it drives great.Alex was great throughout. Easy to stay in touch with & was prompt with any questions we had. We would definitely hire a vehicle through him again.

Took an amazing trip in this camper from middle GA to Vegas and back (about 5,000 miles). Saved roughly half of what we had expected compared to a rental car and hotels. Would absolutely rent from Alex again.

Alex is a terrific host, always available for questions and super-helpful. It was a pleasure to rent from him.The camper was comfortable and had everything we were looking for in a 6 day trip for two of us. The only thing we had to provide ourselves was towels and food.Unlike another review, we found the camper to have standard hookups for electrical and sewer. The camper does have a holding tank rather than a water hookup, but it holds plenty for many camp showers and even a couple of long showers.

This rig is perfect for what you pay. It is not a new camper or truck but everything works! The inside is a bit dated but the bed is comfortable.Pros: The rig has been converted into a boondocking configuration.
It has portable generator which is relatively quiet.
The truck had plenty of power to pull us up a 20% grade.
When we had issues, Alex responded promptly and was a great host!Cons: The rig is not friendly for a campsite with full hook-ups
The truck has a powerful turbine engine which although powerful, we found it very difficult to talk with each other while driving.
We were instructed not to use the on-board generator. So, we had to futz with the extension cords and connectors.
You are not allowed to extend the feet for added stability.
We only got a maximum of 10 MPG of expensive diesel fuel.
Since you only have a maximum of 15A coming into the camper (the 30A circuit is deactivated) we tripped breakers regularly.
The camper was mostly clean but we found dirty pots and pans, all windows were filthy, and the carpeted areas around the bed appeared to not have been vacuumed in a long time.All in all, if you are looking for a good deal on a well-used truck camper combo rental, Alex offers this at an excellent price point. Just don’t assume that this is a good fit for a campground with full hookups as is found in many state parks.

My wife and I (and our dog!) couldn't be happier with our trip! The truck and camper are great, and Alex was always available when we were trying to figure out how things work or if we ran into any trouble. He clearly maintains the rig well. Highly recommended!

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PROVIDER. There is no option to deliver the vehicle to you, as advertised by Outdoorsy. And, you basically have go to his location, at his convenience to get the vehicle. I had a work emergency and could not pick up on the first day. I had to leave the next day in order to make it to my daugher's wedding and my non-refundable hotel reservation. It was very difficult reaching him and he was unable to provide the vehicle that day. I asked him to just cancel then. He said we would. Now, he wants to keep my money because of the cancellation policy. If you offer a service or product, and are unwilling or unable to provide that product, you should be willing to provide a refund. This rental cost me over a thousand dollars. I ended up having to take my minivan, which broke down on the trip. Outdoorsy customer service is a big let down as well. I don't recommend this service or this vehicle.

I had always wanted to give the truck camper life a try. Thanks to Alex and his truck camper rig, my family and I were able to create unforgettable memories on our family holiday to the Smokey’s. His rig is top notch and Alex was efficient and helpful with what ever I needed for my trip. I am already looking forward to my next truck camping adventure.

Alex really went above and beyond to make our a trip a success! He was accommodating with our pickup and drop off needs. He timely responded to communication. He even went so far as having fresh bacon in the fridge after I mentioned my daughter eats bacon everyday. The camper kept us warm despite temperatures in the upper 20s.

Fun old diesel truck. The camper was great too. A little bit older but Alex made it clear up front it’s a bit older and is meant to be used. Overall had a great weekend and enjoyed driving the truck.
