Two Weeks, Countless Memories — All from the RooftopThe included Thule Tepui rooftop tent made setting up camp a breeze. Up in minutes and high off the ground, it was a dream for me, especially when I was cautious in bear country or simply chasing better views. And as someone who's 5 feet 11 inches (1.81 m) tall, I can personally attest that I slept incredibly well in it every night of the trip! With everything from cookware to camping chairs onboard — and thoughtful extras like paper towels and garbage bags — the only things I really needed to bring were food and my personal items.

We had the most perfect week with Taku visiting Tofino! Had everything we needed, was really nice to drive and there is the option to sleep either in the rooftop tent or in the back of the car (we preferred inside the car as my partner is 6'3 and needed slightly more space for his long legs!). Max was great at communicating and even caught up with us prior to our pick up to go through everything in the van. Would definitely recommend!

Car came exactly as in the pictures & description plus some (at our time of booking) unmentioned features like A/C, Dani & friends are very relaxed, communicative and supportive - we spent 3 weeks travelling with Kaslo and had a great time! Would recommend for both shorter and longer trips!Things to keep in mind:
- The rooftop tent is built for people shorter than roughly 1.85m but like ourselves, this does not have to stop you;
- Though the automatic/selector style gearbox options pack quite a good punch in the lower ranges, Kaslo is a 2-wheel drive - leave off-roading to the 4x4’s;
- For those who want to do the math ahead: we’re pretty ‘normal’ drivers and got between 8-9L/100km fuel consumption without really making an effort for fuel efficiency. I’m sure someone can do better but don’t expect this car incl a rooftop tent to match the economics of a European city car ;-)
- No built in satnav and limited data coverage in areas of the country. Practice good old map reading!
- Expect questions and compliments on the setup from other travellers everywhere you go!

Kommunikation und Übergabe des Autos haben Gut geklappt. Dani hat sich Zeit für die Einführung des Fahrzeuges genommen. Die eingebauten Auszüge sind sehr geschickt.
Für 4 Personen recht eng. Gut noch ein Zelt oder Dach zu haben. Wir hatten eine schöne Reise durch Vancouver Island.

My friend & I had a fantastic week road tripping across Vancouver Island & up into Squamish in ‘Kaslo’. We are 5ft 8 & 5ft 10 finding the roof tent a good, cosy size. If you’re taller, you may struggle a little & prefer to ask the hosts for the bed option inside the car itself instead. We picked up ‘Kaslo’ from Dani and dropped her back with Max. Both friendly, easy-going guys who were super responsive to our messages. Max also dropped me to the right side of town after I returned the car - above & beyond. We for sure reccommend renting off these guys! :)
The only thing we’d suggest; is to consider your own charging cables/power things to plug in as we had trouble charging our tech in the car. Thank you Kaslo hosts

Was very thankful for being able to rent Dani's Van on such short notice for a quick getaway from the city. The car was very spacious, and amazing on the road. The Rooftop tent was very easy to use and was a great addition for our trip. Would definitely recommend, great camping vehicle!
