We had a great trip with the Green Machine! We rented it because it is very similar to our home camping setup. We really enjoyed having space in the truck bed to cart stuff around. Kevin is a very nice guy and was great to us the whole time and worked with our flight schedule on both ends of our trip!

What a great way to experience Alaska! Very well equipped, fantastic solar/electrical system, and great communication from Kevin during our trip. As expected, it was a little tight for our family of 4 but we solved that with one of us sleeping outside in a hammock most nights. So many compliments from strangers!

Kevin was superb. He went above and beyond what would be expected. From answering many many questions through texts to offering suggestions on how to get the most out of our once in a lifetime trip to even offering to do an early check in to get us on our way. Every step of the way from the initial reservation to the day we returned Hugo he truly cared about us experiencing the best adventure that we could. And then there is Hugo! Hugo is Kevin’s creation and i told Kevin that he had created perfection. For 21 days we lived a simple, efficient, totally sufficient, nimble life . The setup for organizing our gear , clothes and supplies was totally well thought out. We left Alaska with no regrets having done what we set out to do plus more. And the big factor in accomplishing that was Kevin and his caring attitude and the use of Hugo .

We took Vincent Van Go out for a summer solstice adventure and had a grand time! It’s a whole different experience traveling in a vintage camper van. We took our time, stopped to explore, did some impromptu nature paintings, got up early to sit under the awning with our coffee to just listen to the birds. We brought a vintage typewriter to write random poems, and when it rained we were comfortable inside playing cards, sketching, and reading.

Kevin is an exceptional host. Quick responses and went above and beyond to assist. Hugo was the perfect addition to our Alaska Adventure Road Trip. It truly would not have been the same without Hugo!! If you're contemplating Hugo, don't, just book it! Hugo took us everywhere we wanted to go and even posed perfectly. Thank you, Kevin, for such a unique Alaskan Adventure and sharing Hugo with others.

Our experience in Henry was fantastic. We had three kids at one point and then two on our adventure and we all fit fine. The height of the ceiling was much better than other camper vans we’ve used. The kitchen was very easy to cook in and came with all the things you’d need. The blackout shade game was top-notch, and we could turn the camper into a dark cozy cocoon (very necessary for Alaska summers!) Kevin was the best host ever. He made sure we had enough sleeping bags, chairs, and everything else. His ingenious design with this camper van was appreciated every day of our trip.

This truck is a gem, the host is a pro, and Alaska is meant to be seen this way. Every single place you reach in the rig, Kevin has sorted it out and made sure what you want is in there. Just throw in your perishables, activity gear, and sleeping supplies and go. Even loaded down, the truck returned a very respectable 17mpg. The ride is smooth and once you realize that everything is in its place, it gives you the confidence to relax and enjoy the trip because this truck does what a great truck does - it disappears into the background.

Kevin was super nice, giving great recommendations and allowing me to pickup the truck quite late on my embarkation day. The truck itself is a beast and super comfortable - the camping set up is so easy to use and the tent is much bigger than I would’ve thought. Overall such a great experience!

Kevin is an excellent host, and Henry could not have been a better adventure rig. Trip of a lifetime, would absolutely recommend to anyone looking to explore Alaska in the most unique and capable set up.

Great truck and great communication from Kevin. The truck was laid out very well! Lots of little features made it a perfect home away from home! It really felt like a cozy cabin on wheels. The fireplace warmed it perfectly and the seating was perfect for morning coffee while enjoying the views! This was a once in a lifetime trip and so grateful to spend it with Henry! Do not hesitate!

Travelling with Hugo and Vincent for our first trip to Alaska was truly amazing! Kevin’s work on the vans make them the perfect vehicles for camping throughout alaska - both vans were perfectly outfitted with everything we could have needed and more, and were reliable even in rainy weather. This trip would not have been as amazing as it was without Hugo and Vincent!
