A few problems made this trip a bit of an unnecessary headache.

I just went on the best 8 day road trip in the beehive. It drove smoothly, slept comfortably and kept me safe. It was such a rad time. It was the coolest experience ever being able to camp and then take off to the next location in the van. My two dogs and I explored, glacier national park, Yellowstone, Grand Tetons and then back home to WA. The drive was beautiful. Jake was awesome to work with. If you don’t rent from him you’re missing out on the experience of a lifetime. I am so glad I chose one of jakes rentals when planning my van trip. His communication is top notch which was key in making me feel safe in a solo van rental across the west. He even helped with recommending the right fit for my trip from his selection. 10/10 would recommend. Can’t wait for my next trip.

The van was great! We did the Oregon loop from Portland (Mount hood, Bend, Crater lake, coast) and it was perfect.
Jake was super host, very accommodating and responsive. I recommend 100% going with him for your van trip!

Attentive service from the owner. The vehicle drives well, despite its age. We were looking for something a little more polished so it wasn't a perfect fit for us.

We had a mostly good experience with the van. We made good memories and enjoyed our travels to Rainier but for the price we felt there were some kinks to work out.
The Good:
- Car ran well - no problems with it driving!
- We appreciated the double fan system especially at night to stay cool on a summer night
- Bed was super comfortable to sleep in :)
The Not so great:
- We would have appreciated being met and person and shown the systems to feel more confident.
- It wasn't as clean as we would have liked (stained cushions, no provided soap/sponge, not clean feeling in the driving area, messy cabinets)
- no privacy screens/anything for the windshield + front windows
- the cooler had a bizarre smell so we opted to remove it from the van for our trip

We had an absolutely incredible experience renting from Jake. From the moment we booked, he was responsive, communicative, and made the entire process seamless.One thing we really appreciated was how spacious it felt inside. My boyfriend is 6’0”, and he could comfortably stand upright, which made a huge difference during a week-long trip. We never felt cramped or like we were constantly in each other’s way. The bed was also very comfortable. We both slept incredibly well every night, and after long days of hiking and exploring. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, made cooking easy, and honestly became one of the best parts of van life. Being able to make breakfast with mountain views or cook dinner after watching the sunset made the experience feel so much more special.

We rented a camper van to travel the coast of Oregon. The van was everything we needed. Jake was an excellent host. Very commutative and made sure we had what we needed.

Comfy, safe, and fun. Our Oregon experience was made special by this van and we won’t soon forget it. Jake is very nice and accommodating. This is the only way to see Oregon. Thank you Jake!

Overall an adventure to remember! Quick communication and a solid drive.It was clear the van had a very tight turnaround from the previous rental, so there were a few minor housekeeping and maintenance items that needed attention, which we passed along directly to the host. The owner was incredibly nice and easy to communicate with throughout the process. It served its purpose well for our journey, and with a little routine maintenance between trips, it’s a great option!
