Bill was awesome to work with and very responsive! They were down to earth, it was an easy process to pick up and drop off. Bill spent an hour with us walking through everything. The RV came just as described and was very easy to drive (we were first time RV drivers). We recommend anyone to book with them, we will definitely be return customers!

Bill was most accommodating and very easy to work with through our experience. He did a thorough orientation with us about the RV and was readily available through the Outdoorsy app. The RV handled well and was practical for visiting smaller towns and country roads. Great trip!

First of all the Overview is fraudulent. First sentence reads," This is a brand new 2017 Gulfstream." FALSE. The Gulfstream has 55,000 + miles and is far from brand new. The day we were supposed to receive the RV at 9:00 a.m., Bill called to tell me that upon leaving with the RV, he had torn off the awning. We had to wait for him to remove the awning and patch the holes. No credit for the lack of awning although we were destined to Phoenix, AZ. When Bill arrived a few hours later, the propane light was not on. My wife is a diabetic and the refrigerator was a necessity. Bill could not figure out the problem, so went somewhere and was told it was a bad battery. He did replace the battery and the refrigerator worked the rest of the day. Why was this not checked beforehand. So after an abbreviated lesson, we were on our way about 5 hours late. Before we left, we were told that the shower was basically unusable for its purpose. This RV can NOT hold 6 people. It was my wife, myself, and two dogs. We immediately converted the table in the middle of the RV into a supposed bed for the dogs. This "bed" should not be classified as a bed. The cushions continually fell off and could only be used by the dogs, who are used to a hard floor. My wife and I had no experience with an RV. We continually wondered why there was no hot water. Finally, ten days into the trip Bill authorized us to have a mobile repair service come to our site. Turns out, the person Bill last retained to work on the water heater "winterized" it, basically shutting down the hot water heater. Also, Bill had the repairman do something on the roof to stop a leak. Very important, my wife and I had brought along numerous cd's to listen to during our travels. The first time I tried a cd, it got stuck in the player and would not work. The same water heater repairman removed the cd. When I asked Bill how to work the cd player, he said he did not know. 90% no audio for the whole trip. Also, during the trip, an important, large storage drawer just fell apart. Unusable. We paid over $4,000 for this 30 day odyssey.
We returned about 4 days early because the coronavirus prevented us from stopping at numerous landmarks. When we asked Bill about some compensation for the early return and all we had been through, he said no. He said he would have to call Outdoorsy. It has been 4 days, and I have heard nothing. This experience ruined our taste for RVing.

Gerald lets review the facts starting bottom up. You are correct that I did not refund any money for you returning the RV early. This is stated in the rental agreement that anything 14 days prior is non refundable. However, in addition to the contract, I gave you a great deal on the RV. A normal month's rental is around $3500. I only charged you $2900 for the month, a discount of $600. I also waived the delivery fee ($100) and the black water cleaning fee ($25). So you had over $700 in discounts prior to you even starting the trip. On top of that, I even had Outdoorsy change your rental dates from March 1 to February 29, so you could start a day early due to leap year. This was done at no extra cost.The CD player works. I tried it when I got home. I don't know what you were doing wrong. We told you about the drawer needing a new tract. We noted it on the departure form as damaged. You said that you wouldn't need it because of all the other storage space. As far as the water heater goes, the minute you texted me about it, I offered to fix it. This was was on 1 March (one day into the trip) and you were somewhere in Missouri. I even looked for repair shops along your route and told you that I would pay for it. You said that you would wait until you got to San Antonio. I also had the mechanic inspect the roof and fix anything that I might have damaged when I was bringing it to you so you wouldn't run into problems in your trip. As an owner, I gladly paid for this to make sure you had everything you needed. As far as the RV not holding six people, this is what the manufacturer rates the vehicle as. It is standard in class C RVs that the table makes a queen bed. We showed you how the table converts into a bed and even set it up for you. We told you that if you use a sheet it would hold the cushions in place. No one said the shower is unusable. We said that it was inconvenient as all RV showers are. The shower head is usually shorter than the person showering. We told you that we simply use the bath houses at the RV parks but that was just a personal preference. The refrigerator was checked before hand and the battery was good. There was a power cut off switch that was off that morning, so that is why the pilot light wasn't working. However, I put a new battery in ($100) just to be safe. I gave you a very detailed training, I provided you with a print out of how everything works, and you agreed with that on the departure form. Not only that, you were in constant contact with me and I tried to answer every question no matter how trivial. I did have an accident with the RV before I delivered it to you. I offered you a full refund at that time. You told me that you would rather not have the awning and you would still take the RV. I fixed it as best I could, and you even said, that you didn't notice anything was wrong. As far as a fraudulent listing. The listing and description says that it is a 2017. You asked to inspect the RV a month prior to your trip. I met you just a few miles from your house, and you said,"Really nice meeting both you and your wife on Saturday. The RV will be perfect for us." Also, all along the trip, you sent me messages about how much you were "Enjoying the RV and the dogs give it two paws up"Now let's talk about the accident that you had with the RV. You damaged the rear trim because, as you told me someone was blocking you in at a gas station and you didn't wait for them to move and tried to get around them. You left that accident without a police report. I was not even aware when it happened because you never told me about it, until I went to pick it up. I submitted the claim for this accident, and you were unhappy with the cost and lost your deposit and had to pay for the repairs. You contacted me that you felt this was too high, and I told you how to contact Outdoorsy customer service, because they were the one that handled the claim and wrote the estimate. I had nothing to do with the estimate, but you wanted me to tell them that it was to expensive. I am sorry that you feel that way. I am an honest, above the board owner. I gave you all the information to contact them and file a complaint, but you refused to do even that.
Sixteen other renters have reviewed me and gave me a five start rating. Yours is the only negative one.

We rented the RV from Bill over the Thanksgiving holiday. It was great! The RV was super clean, easy to drive and just right for a family of 5. Bill was always quick to respond to our messages, super friendly and great to work with.

We wanted a small drivable camper for our first experience and Bill & Julie’s camper was PERFECT for our family of 4! We had zero issues as newbies and they were very helpful to answer any questions. Bill is very flexible and accommodating. The camper was just the right size. Even in the abnormally high 100• fall days/nights we were comfortable. The fridge held more than we expected too so that was a plus.
Very easy to operate. Don’t be intimidated!

We had a great experience renting from Bill, he was always responsive to questions and delivered / picked up the RV at the scheduled times. Were able to fit two adults and three kids in the RV for a 2000 mile / 13 day trip around Lake Michigan. Highly recommend renting this RV from Bill, is easy to drive and operate.

Bill and Julie are a pleasure to do business with. Their rig was perfect for our first RVing adventure. It was exactly as described and they gave us a great walk-thru of how things worked. Easy to drive, comfortable, and fun. Playing cards at the dinette table on a rainy night was relaxing and memorable. Bill was always just a text away (as I let him know how we we’re doing!). We met wonderful folks along our route and will definitely RV again. Our 20 days on the road in their rig was an excellent get-away.
