The person we dealt with (Jon) was clearly very knowledgeable and quite informative. He was flexible about the pickup and drop off timing and genuinely invested in us having a good rental experience. He spent plenty of time with us at the handover, answered all of our questions, and we had no trouble getting in touch with him during the rental.Mechanically the RV was fine. The auto-leveling system was quite cool and worked very well, and the host was kind enough to include a great selection of electrical adapters, as well as some folding chairs. The inside of the RV has clearly seen sustained use and there were a few issues; drawers and windows not working smoothly, doors not latching, etc. The bathrooms were spotlessly clean, but some other parts (like the dash) were a bit on the dusty side.If I could go back in time, the things I would have done differently:1. Arrive at a clear understanding about how much stuff will be left in the RV. Some customers appreciate having things like puzzles, bug repellent, tools, and cooking spices provided; others would rather get a relatively empty vehicle and have the maximum amount of room to bring their own stuff.
2. Look in all of the drawers, cabinets, and try out things like doors and windows etc before accepting.
3. Make sure whoever is likely to be most sensitive to the condition of the vehicle (in my case it was my wife) will be present at handover even if not driving.
4. Have reasonable expectations; these are working vehicles and are not going to be in showroom condition.
