I was a first-time renter & first-time camper van user. Renting to decide whether to buy one. The owners were super helpful, adjusted their schedules to suit my pickup time & spent a generous amount of time introducing me to the van. Lots of pictures in the user’s manual for FAQ issues. Weather prevented my camping plans, but I used the time to explore the van & practice driving. Had a small mishap resulting in damage to the bumper. So far the handling of damage deposit & insurance claim has been straightforward, clear & aboveboard. I recommend some experience driving a van before taking it on the road, but it drives like a dream going down the highway, & is very easy to back. Big side mirrors & Guidelines on the backup screen help a lot. Love the rear facing camera that feeds to the rear view mirror. Easy to operate everything. Went off grid for 2 days, no problem with water & power. It’s a lovely new van with a pop-up roof & extra sleeping for 2; makes van travel with a family doable. Except for the damage it has been a good experience & I learned a lot.

The Soils was absolutely amazing and we could not have asked for a better trip because of it. Taking a family trip with an 11 week old baby can be difficult but Mel's Soils had everything we could have asked for and more. Mel and her husband were amazing to work with. If you are looking for a great adventure in a camper van this is the van for you!
