I wouldn't rent through this outfit. The trailer is full of left over stuff from other campers and very disorganized. It was not brought to our attention until the morning of the trip that it had sustained decent damage and we didn't have any other option than to take the unit. We did have a great time as a family and the trailer operated just great except for the damage to the fridge and that they rented me their sway bar and didn't check the ball for tightness. I had to pay a mechanic in town to get it tightened due to how the sway bar was built. If you can find this trailer from a more organized group I would rent this trailer again just not from Whit and Mckay.

We’re sorry to hear our trailer wasn’t up to your standards Dayson. We take pride in each rental making sure it’s cleaned, organized and passes a safety inspection before for each rental. I apologize that a cabinet door had been damaged (cracked from a previous renter, still functional) a day before your rental, however we did throw in our equalizer hitch at no charge.Upon your return there was an inspection done which confirmed no damage to the fridge. However the trailer was left in terrible condition; dried up food on the counter tops and sink, dirty dishes, dirt and mud all throughout the trailer, feces in the toilet bowl, stains on on the sheets, and significant holes punctured through the rubber roof liner. It was also noticed that the trailer had not been refueled with gas or propane as requested. Unfortunately this resulted in losing your full deposit and a claim to be filed. It was very unfortunate to see such little care for our trailer that we work hard to maintain and provide for each renter and I believe our past reviews reflect that.

We had such a positive experience renting this toy hauler from Whit & McKay. They were both super nice and responsive and made sure we were comfortable and informed about everything we would need when we picked it up. They also had stocked inside with clean bedding, wash clothes and towels, utensils, and even had fun games. It was super clean and had everything we need. The bed was SO COMFORTABLE, and the shower was really nice too. Everything worked great and it was just the right size for our toys! We will definitely be renting this from Whit & McKay again!
