Choose your own adventure with an Outdoorsy RV.
Ever wanted to roll like a celebrity? Now’s your chance— and it’s easier than you think. People all over the world are social distancing by getting outside and in RVs, including stars like Zoey Deutch. The actress, known for her roles on Netflix’s The Politician and movies like Set It Up, recently rented a Sprinter van from Outdoorsy to make all of her camping dreams come true.
Here’s what she’s been up to on her sweet vacay and why you should rent a campervan for your next trip.
Adventures in a 2019 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter
On her journey, Deutch ventured along the Pacific Coast in her 2019 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter rental, hitting up gorgeous must-sees like Big Sur and the Oregon coast. This long and scenic stretch of undeveloped coastline is perfect for a socially distanced getaways. Visitors can enjoy all the area has to offer, including surfing, beachcombing, hiking, and more. Or, of course, you can do what Zoey did— curl up with a nice bottle of wine and simply enjoy the view. And what better way to do it in a campervan that has everything you’ll need!
This particular 2019 model features a custom build-out certified by Mercedes-Benz and comes fully equipped with a queen-sized bed, microwave, sink, ventilation, refrigerator, and lots of space for storage. When not using the bed, campers can arrange the cushions to form two couches and place a dining table in the middle.
Other great features include an outside shower, awning, solar power, a tow hitch, and rooftop storage capabilities.
Why rent a camper van?
Not planning on going to venture to California, but still want to rent a campervan? Luckily, you can find rentals all over the country! Campervans open up a whole new world of camping and exploring possibilities. Here are just a few of the reasons why campervans are the way to go.
They Are Easy
If you dread all of the work that comes with larger RV travel, you’ll love a campervan. Just pull up to your site to set up camp. There’s no need to hitch and unhitch or deal with the hassles of towing. When you’re ready to head to your next destination, you can just get in and go! Most people instantly feel comfortable driving these, as opposed to the learning curve that larger rigs have.
They’re perfect for the solo camper, but can easily accommodate two to three people.
They Are Versatile
One of the biggest drawbacks of larger RVs is that they can be difficult to maneuver in some situations. Between narrow roads, low underpasses, and roads with weight restrictions, sometimes RVs can’t go everywhere you want them to. But with a camper van, you can go on virtually any road your car can. Even navigating and maneuvering in busy cities is a breeze.
Some even have four-wheel drive capabilities, meaning it can even go off any road, too. And when you’re ready to stop for snacks, gas, or supplies, you can fit in a normal-sized parking lot. There’s no need to drive around looking for an empty space to fit a 40-foot behemoth.
They Are a Great Way to Dip Your Toes into Camping
Because they are so easy to use and versatile, campervans are the perfect rig to rent if you’re new to camping. Whether you’ll be staying at an RV resort or want to go boondocking, a Sprinter campervan can do every type of road trip.
Live your best celebrity life with a snazzy camping adventure. An RV is the perfect way to make great memories outdoors with friends and family without breaking the bank. It’s a win-win!
